Mechanic When I grow up project: Ali Tariq

Mechanics diagnose, adjust, repair, or overhaul motorcycles, scooters, mopeds, dirt bikes, or similar motorized vehicles. They don't earn that much money a year but it would be a fun job to have.

You should be able to hold or move items with your hands. Put together small parts with your finger. You have to be strong and use rules to solve problems.

The skills needed to be a mechanic are Listening to others, not interrupting, Asking good questions Thinking about the pros and cons of different ways to solve a problem, and Noticing a problem and figuring out the best way to solve it.

Mechanics usually work in a garage. The length of education is about three years, four years if you want to get a better degree of being a mechanic. The average amount of money they get a year is $34,220 a year. It's not much, but it works....

Get it? Its works!

Gears. They "work" together.
