After reaching the compound, we took a Tuk Tuk to Diani Beach for dinner.
"Matatu's here!"

45-60 minute ride south to the youth conference in Msambweni depending, of course, on the driver of the matatu and the number of monkeys crossing the road.

Christmas Day: The Story of Two Trees

As part of the Christmas Day Service, families and youth choirs from each region of Kenya sang Christmas hymns and carols.

Here's a short video of one of the choirs singing "Silent Night".

Christmas Feast
Christmas Menu: the whole chicken, goat blood sausage, pilau rice, and goat stomach and intestines.
"The Spirit of the Lord is on me, because he has anointed me to proclaim freedom for the prisoners and recovery of sight to the blind, to release the oppressed, to proclaim the year of the Lord's favor." (Jesus - Luke 4:18-19)
