Augusto Pinochet by: Loi nguyen

Augusto Pinochet was born November 25, 1915 and died December 10, 2006. His whole life he was determined to exterminate leftism. He grew up and became the head of Chile's military government. Augusto eventually overthrew socialist government of President Salvador Allende of Chile, and became president of Chile in June 1974. He was also was the start of the Miracle of Chile, which was a huge economic rise for Chile in the 1980's and the start of a democracy in the country. This made Chile a strong country again and Augusto eventually died on December 10, 2006.
