Targeted Assistance

Being a Title I Targeted Assistance school means that we receive federal funding (Title I dollars) to supplement the school’s existing programs. These dollars are used for…

  • Identifying students experiencing academic difficulties and providing timely assistance to help these student’s meet the State’s challenging content standards.
  • Purchasing supplemental staff/programs/materials/supplies
  • Conducting parent and family engagement meetings/trainings/activities

The parents of any student that qualifies for Targeted Assistance is notified by our Title I Targeted Assistance Interventionists. If you missed our Title I presentation at our PTA Parent Information night, and would like more information please view the "Targeted Assistance" tab on our website or contact the front office. There you will find basic information as well as our Parent Compact and Parent Involvement Policies.

Congratulations PRMS Students of the Month!

Teacher of the Month

Congratulations Mrs. Tiffany Rush for being selected by our student body as Teacher of the Month!

Mrs. Rush served as the PRMS Reading interventionist last year, and has continued to serve as an interventionist as well as leading two Community 7 ELA classes. Look at some of the reasons that Mrs. Rush's students voted for as teacher of the month...

  • "She is such a kind and sweet teacher, she is my favorite class, and she is so amazing and I am so blessed to have her as my teacher this year!"
  • "She is really fun teacher, and really good at explaining the work that we do."
  • "She's very understanding and knows how to explain things well and helps us move ahead if we want."

Data Binder Updates

This month look out for students to have an updated record of the standards they have mastered, as well as a graph of their course average over time. This helps students see their growth as well as identify topics on which to focus their reflections and goal settings.

PRMS Athletics

PRS hosts a variety of school sanctioned sports throughout the school year. The Alabama High School Athletic Association recognizes school sponsored athletics in grades 7-12. However, athletic opportunities for younger grades are sponsored by off campus organizations. While PRMS tries to help these groups send out information to our learners, we are not officially affiliated with these athletic teams. PRMS sponsored sports are listed on our webpage or can be found by clicking the direct link below:

C7-12 Athletes Must Sign Up for DragonFly
