Spring at the Franklin Park Conservatory

The Franklin Park Conservatory recently opened their annual Blooms and Butterflies exhibit, which will run through May 31, 2021. The exhibit offers a wide variety of spring flowers native to Ohio, and many exotic butterflies. The conservatory also houses other exhibits such as the Chihuly Glass Collection, the Children's Garden, and other greenhouse biomes. The many different experiences and activities offered ensure that there will be something there for everyone.

During the Blooms and Butterflies exhibit, visitors have the chance to explore the beautiful outdoor gardens that surround the conservatory. It includes many varieties of flowers that will continue to bloom throughout the spring.

Inside the conservatory, visitors are able to closely interact with the exotic butterflies, as they fly freely around the Pacific Island Water garden.

At the end of the butterfly exhibit, guests are also able to view butterflies in their chrysalises, and butterflies that have just hatched. This viewing experience offers a unique view of the butterflies that the public often does not get to witness.

At the end of the experience, guests are even able to purchase their own caterpillar that is native to Ohio, that they are able to raise, and then later release when it is a butterfly. Overall, the Blooms and Butterflies exhibit was a very beautiful and amazing experience. It is a great activity for anyone looking for something different to do this spring, and for more information about future spring activities or exhibits, you can visit the Franklin Park Conservatory website.
