God's Plan of Salvation BECAUSE HE LOVES THE PEOPLE HE CREATED - scroll down

For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life. -John 3:16

God loves us, His creation so much that He sacrificed His only Son. Here's a quick story about why...

In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth. The earth was without form, and void; and darkness was on the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters. - Genesis 1:1-2

Look around you. Everything you see came from nothing. I mean God spoke what you see into existence. God made this world for us to live in comfort. He didn't intend for evil, sickness or death to be a part of humanity.

Everything God Made Was Good! God spoke and things happened, things were created, things suddenly appeared. And everything He made He said it was good. What was so good about it was God made all of what we see out of darkness, out of nothing! - reference: Genesis 1:3-25

He put everything mankind needed in a garden called Eden. There was food, water, animals, everything we needed was right there. That's one of countless ways God shows His love for us. He gives us everything we need. He will always supply all of our needs. He started out that way, and He is still doing it today.
“Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our Likeness.”
God spoke and said; “Let Us make man in Our image, according to Our Likeness.” So God made man and woman, blessed them, and commanded them to be fruitful and multiply (have children).

God fully furnished man and woman with everything they needed and He gave the first job on earth and that was to have dominion over everything He created. He even gave man his first home and that was in the garden of Eden. Everything man needed was in this garden. Genesis 1:26-2:15

But Sin Entered The World!

Now God supplied Adam and Eve with everything they needed in the garden and Eden. God told Adam they could enjoy everything in the garden. There was plenty of food for them. God told them they could have everything they wanted except for the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. If they ate from this tree they would surely die.

Well along comes a serpent (Satan). He convinced Adam and Eve to eat from the tree God told them not to eat from. From that point sin came into the world and messed things up, but only temporarily. Because of sin, man became separated from God and the connection was broken for a time. But God had a plan for this situation all the while. His plan is to redeem man from the sin of this world so there would no longer be a separation between man and Himself. Genesis 2:16 – 3:24

Sin Entered and Brought Separation and Death

Sin is defined as an immoral act considered to be a transgression against divine law. You see. Adam and Eve went against God when they disobeyed the command to not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Satan played them and they fell for it.

Now man became separated from God, and the result of the separation is death. The separation is still around today. We are separated from God, but God being as loving as He is has provided a way for us to be forgiven and reconnect with Him. He provided a sacrifice for us!

But God Loves Us!!!

In spite of our sinful ways, God has shown His love for us. We are so undeserving of this kind of love! God sent His Son, Jesus, who was born through a woman to come and save mankind from destruction. Sin without a sacrifice and repentance will lead us into eternal torment and death. But when atonement is made, we have a chance to live eternal lives of peace.

So God sent His only Son, Jesus as a sacrifice for the sins we’ve committed. The years before Jesus’ birth, a lamb was sacrificed. When Jesus came, he was the lamb of God, sent to be a sacrifice for you and me. He suffered the same thing the lamb suffered.

His blood was shed, He died so we can be reconnected with God! He was crucified after being severely beaten and disfigured. He was nailed to a cross by His hands and His feet. He hung there until He died. He was placed in a tomb, but death couldn’t keep Him there. He came back to life, walked out of that tomb and went to be with His Father until the time of His return, which is soon! John 3:16

Good News! Jesus Is The Way Out Of The Punishment For Sin!

It may seem difficult to walk away from committing the sin that destroys us. But actually it isn’t. Bearing this in mind, you cannot get pass the punishment of sin with Jesus. The Good News is the Gospel of Jesus Christ! He came and took the punishment for us and if we believe in the Gospel, we will be saved.

Romans 10:9 says; If you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart God raised Jesus from the dead, you will be saved. If you acknowledge you are a sinner and confess that you need Jesus to be the Lord of your life, and you need Him to save you from eternal death, He will help you, He will save you.

1 John 1:9 says:

if we confess our sins, He is faithful and just. He will forgive our sins and clean us up from unrighteous lifestyles.
