Cal State, Fullerton enrolled students are able to use the Student Recreation Center at no cost! Just register and start working out.

Q&A of Rosa of the Rec Center

Weight Training Area:The Recreation Center offers various exercise features which include:Weight Training Area: With about 60 cardio machines, 80 strength machines, and 12 dual Function training motion machines, the SRC strives to promote the belief that fitness should be for all, no matter your size, shape, fitness level or ability. Anyone from beginning weight lifters to avid exercises are welcome.

Multi-Court Gymnasium: At about 22,000 square feet of gymnasium space, the SRC is able to accomodate three full indoor basketball courts for recreation and student use. The SRC space can include area for either 3 basketball courts, 3 volleyball or 9 badminton courts, with drop curtain dividers and 3 scoreboards.

Indoor Jogging Track: The SRC also features a 7,000 square foot jogging track, that is elevated above the gymnasium. The track is 1/9th of a mile and accommodates 3 running lanes with directional arrows and pace clocks.

Multipurpose Activity Rooms: The SRC has 3 multipurpose activity rooms providing 7,600 square feet of activity space for non-credit group exercise classes, like yoga, dance, stretching, and martial arts.

Racquetball/Sports Courts:Two dedicated activity courts can accommodate play for sports like racquetball, handball, wall-ball, and table tennis. Racquetball courts can be reserved 24hrs in advance for one-hour time allotments. Equipment can be rented free of charge, but members must be using eye guards.

Drop In Fitness

Drop In Fitness Classes: The drop in fitness classes, give members the opportunity to establish and expand skills related to popular exercise trends. These classes are available to members from Monday through Saturday, hours vary depending on the fitness class. This Spring Semester Offers the following classes:

• Flow Yoga

• Power Yoga

• Titan Spin

• Zumba

• Martial Arts Fitness

• Spin & Core

• POP Pilates

• Total Body Fitness

The ROCK WALL

NEW OR EXPERT

The rock wall is for everybody from novice to experts there are 3 sets of classes that will help you improve your skills, eventually leading to outdoor climbing.

OPEN CLIMB is available to those who have passed the top rope safety test.

The test can be completed with one of the following options:

  • Climb I class
  • KHS 114A class
  • test out by appointment with a $10 fee

  • Tues & Wed 12pm-3pm 5pm-9pm
  • Thurs:5pm-9pm
  • Fri & Sat:12pm-3pm
  • CLOSED on Sundays

POOL AREA

Titan Recreation hosts Fun Fridays at pool from NOON-2pm with free food, music, and giveaways.

  • Mon-Thurs: 6:30am-8pm
  • Friday:6:30am-6:30pm
  • Sat & Sun: 11:30am-6:30pm

SALES & SERVICES

Located on the 2nd floor they provide equipment for rental and handle the registration process

Items for rental include the following:

  • Rackets
  • Basketballs
  • Soccer Balls
  • Volley Balls
  • Footballs
  • Boxing gloves & pads

*note they have a limited quantity of each item for rental

Reservations

Student clubs & organizations are able to reserve certain parts of the rec center via Titanlinks

Faculty are also eligible to rent out these areas
