RMC vs Lakehead Friday - 2018/10/26

Thunder Bay, ON - Paladins rookie Alex MacDonald recorded the first multi-goal game of his career, but the RMC (2-5) comeback came up short in a 4-3 road loss to the Lakehead Thunderwolves (3-2) on Friday night.

RMC fell behind in the first period when Lakehead's Caleb Boman scored a power play goal midway through the period.

1st Intermission

RMC was behind 1-0 after 20 minutes.

Lakehead doubled their lead early in the second period when Dexter Kuczek found the back of the net.

2nd Intermission

With 20 minutes left, Lakehead led RMC 2-0.

Rookie Alex MacDonald netted one for RMC just nine seconds into the third period to give the Paladins life.

Jordan King and Jonathon Masters responded with two goals for Lakehead before a minute and a half had gone in the third period.

RMC's Dylan Giberson scored his first of the year, followed by MacDonald's second of the game for the Paladins to shrink the deficit to one.

RMC has their chance for revenge on Saturday night when they faceoff with Lakehead again.
