We were the first to dream up a commerically built oceanfront Cottage.
As the number of rental homes available for weddings dwindles on the coast, we felt the need to preserve these intimate beach receptions. So we built an event venue. Celebration Cottage looks like a home on the outside but parties like a ballroom from within. We have a bridal suite for getting ready, a dining room dripping with chandeliers from our 19 foot ceiling and a HUGE oceanfront deck to dance and toast on! Celebration Cottage sits on 3 lots of oceanfront property. On the left of the cottage there is an undeveloped space for parking or a HUGE tent. The cottage is built on the second space and on the third is our travertine tiled palm garden. We also have one of the only 3 private beach accesses in town with a gazebo to get the most amazing photos of the Oceana Pier and the waves.
There are no bedrooms in this house! I like to tell everyone that we are a zero bedroom, six bath. But, really we are the only commercially built beach house that I know of. The Cottage is fully ADA accessable including elevator, ramps and shower. We have a fully commercial kitchen so everything is cooked on site, not toted from place to place before it gets to you. Celebration Cottage was BUILT for events. This makes the experice of planning your event with us a very stress free and enjoyable one.
how many guests can the cottage accomidate?
We are comfortable with events with up to 250 guests in attendance. Our minimum for a Saturday Wedding in season is 50 guests.
Chris and Paige were married in October 2016 and at around 185 guests, they hired a big band and created a night that they will always treasure.
How does the pricing work?
All inclusive weddings: 40 guests or more $250 per guest
Inclusive package offers Planning and Coordination by Knot a Second Thought, 12 hours of day of Venue use, Upgraded Catering Package, Upgraded Bar Including Specialty Cocktail, Cake, DJ, Linens, Tents and Rentals, Gratuity, Taxes and Fees
Inclusive package does not include: Officiant, Ceremony Seating, Marriage Licenses, Florals or Photography.
Plan to be here all day! We will open the cottage for you on your wedding day at 11:00 and the noise ordinace in town allows us to play outdoor amplified music till 11:00 giving you 12 hours of cottage use on your wedding day! Our very special bridal suite means you and the girls can hang out and get your makeup & hair done and when its time you can put on your dress without ever having to travel in it! Feel free to bring some snacks or ask Chef Denise to add some for you, we will supply a couple of bottles of champagne and OJ on our little mimosa cart for you!
If you are the type of party that goes late into the night we can discuss fun alternatives such as keeping the Restaurant Bar open late or moving the party inside the cottage for extra time.
Our venue has no less than 3 ceremony sites to choose from. The Beach on the sand, the travertine tiled palm garden or the deck under our custom deck tent if you choose to have it. There are also many other ideas so you can really make the space your own. Our planner will help you plan it all out to maximize flow
After the ceremony is cocktail hour! Beer and Wine are included in our package as well as bartenders & servers for passing fun appetizers or blending up a beachy cocktial! Cocktail tables, glassware & plates are also included! (The package comes with one appetizer. Upgrades to liquor service or more appetizers are avaiable.)
All taxes, permits, fees and gratuity are also included witht the package price!
Dinner is served! Our package includes dining tables and chairs, also, white or ivory floor length linens and whichever napkin color you would like. Plate, Glass and Silverware are also included. (Upgrades to specialty linens are avaiable.)
