Marriage leads to a happier life. After surveying 165,000 people, the U.K.'s Office of National Statistics recently stated that being married is 20 times more important to a persons happiness than their earnings.
Being married can actually benefit your health. The New York Times reports that past studies have proven the people that are married are less likely to get pneumonia, develop cancer, and have heart attacks.
Being married can be beneficial in your career. The Art of Manliness website states that married men make 10%-40% more than single men.
According to "The Art of Manliness", being married can prolong your life. Married men live 10 years longer than single men.
The Art of Manliness says that nothing is better than true companionship. It says that when you have true companionship everything is better and easier. The also quoted an old Swedish proverb that states, "Shared joy is double joy. Shared sorrow is half sorrow."
