On Tuesday, April 10, scholarship recipients were given the opportunity to say 'Thank you' to our community members who have provided scholarship funds to assist in making their dreams come true.

"I hope you know how much you're contributing to my life and my career. I’m on my last stretch for the finish line to my Bachelor’s degree in nursing as my graduation date is approaching at the beginning of May 2018. I want to thank you again for your investment and please know that you're a great help to all us. I promise I will help others as you helped me, with time or financially to make other students dream come true. I'm very grateful for your contribution to my future." - Flavia Ortiz

Dr. Tom LoBasso congratulates Chris Collier, BA Education May 2018. Chris was a guest speaker and shared how he is changing career paths to become a teacher for our community.

When I learned that I was the recipient of the June Drulard Scholarship, it was a tremendous financial relief for my family! To finish the teaching program, I quit my job to focus and complete my degree and become the first person in my family with a bachelor’s degree.
