Trump's Views on Climate Change By: Julia Delany

Trump's Views:

Trump's view on climate change is that he believes there is human connectivity to climate change. He also once stated that climate change is a "hoax" created by and for the Chinese to make money.

Trump's Cabinet Members:

Donald Trump's cabinet members do not believe it is a hoax, but they believe human's have some type of impact. Secretary of State, energy and interior all agree that believing it is a hoax is completely ridiculous, but some say human's could be a big reason. Scott Pruitt states "I believe the ability to measure with precision the degree that human activity is impacting the climate is subject to more debate on whether the climate is changing or whether human activity contributes to it"

Impact:

The new administration believes they can change climate control, but they can't control what happens. Trump is coming into office and is asking for increased production of oil, gas and coal and is attempting to re-do some of Obama's past environmental regulations.

Changes:

I don't believe a lot of changes will happen because he doesn't believe it so it's probably not a big concern for him. He won't be focused on it as much as any other issue or controversy.
