The Postseason. Mines men's basketball

Colorado School of Mines men's basketball made history with their first NCAA Elite Eight appearance in 2016-17, winning the RMAC regular-season and Tournament championships before taking all three games of the NCAA South Central regional on their homecourt at Lockridge Arena.

Feb. 25, 2017 - Mines 89, Metro State 57 (RMAC regular-season champions)

March 4, 2017 - Mines 102, Fort Lewis 98 OT (RMAC Tournament Final)

March 11, 2017 - Mines 90, Ark.-Fort Smith 79 (NCAA First Round)

March 12, 2017 - Mines 86, Fort Lewis 67 (NCAA Second Round)

March 11, 2017 - Mines 88, West Texas A&M 63 (NCAA Sweet 16)

March 20-21, 2017 - NCAA Elite Eight Arrival and Practice, Sioux Falls, S.D.

March 22, 2017 - Bellarmine 92, Mines 72 (NCAA Elite Eight)

Mines ended the season with a 30-5 record, the most wins in program history. They won the RMAC double for the second time ever and the Elite Eight appearance was the furthest Mines basketball has ever been. All-American Gokul Natesan scored more than 2,000 points for his career, and Head Coach Pryor Orser was named the RMAC and NABC South Central Coach of the Year.
