The Importance of Drivers EducAtion Why it should be a MANDATORY class

CAR CRASHES ARE THE LEADING CAUSE OF TEENAGE DEATHS.

BY IMPLEMENTING A MANDATORY DRIVERS EDUCATION COURSE AT OXFORD AREA HIGH SCHOOL, THE NUMBER OF TEENAGE DRIVING FATALITIES CAN BE REDUCED.

As a result of educating students on the dangers of texting and driving, teens are less likely to attempt it...

...thus reducing texting while driving, which is the number one cause of driving fatalities.

Drivers Ed can inform teenagers on various road signs and what they mean.

Students can then recognize the signs and proceed with caution...

This will reduce the chance of a crash.

Through the course, teenagers can be educated on how to handle dangerous weather conditions while driving.

Drivers Education will make the "lightbulb" go off in high school student's heads in regards to responsible driving, thus reducing motor vehicle fatalities by making them into safer and smarter drivers.
