Modern Transcendentalism by kayla teter

A Nonconformist is someone whose views or ideas go against modern society's views or ideas.

Adolf Hitler

An example of a modern day nonconformist would be Adolf Hitler. He had his own opinion on how he wanted the world to look. Although his method of achieving these ideas ended in his untimely suicide, Hitler will always be known as the man who started the holocaust. His nonconformity lead him to be widely known through his time till now. He had good intentions for his country, but they had catastrophic consequences but nonetheless he was a very evil man.

Knowing that Hitler was a nonconformist shows that nonconformity is both good and bad. A man such as him who had these strange ideas of how he wanted the world to look is outrageous and goes against what many people stand for, but a someone who has outrageous ideas and doesn't effect society as a whole can be considered good.
