Violence KIara Mota 6A

Violence is the use of physical force to harm someone, to damage property and etc. In the U.S.A there is a problem with guns, because there is about 10,000 gun homicides per year, and 20,000 gun suicides per year. My opinion in this problem is that is not only a problem is a BIG problem and with that number of people who use violence is incredible. So violence is not just a problem in the U.S.A there is a problem in all around the world and it can be globally. If you want to decrease violence. How would you do that?

There are many problems with violence which are affecting our body physicals. Some people love guns and knifes but that doesn't mean that they love violence. But still we need to stop that the guns are affecting us, because some people get out of control and they experience it and can create violence. We need to stop the things that are affecting ourselves. By the other side lots but lots of people love violence. Why do they start loving violence? The question is simple. In these days games and movies are starting to have more violence. About more than 50% of people is starting to love violence. In the U.S.A is starting a gun problem because there is about 10,000 gun homicides and 20,000 gun suicides per a year. We need to start thinking about how to prevent that and make the number less, so the world can be a better place.

Some of the causes of violence is: first that you are stressed or are depressed, second getting drunk, and last watching violent movies or videos and playing violent videos games. The causes of getting stressed or depressed are not sleeping well, the work and so on. We can prevent this by accepting your life or to do different things like to change the calendar of your life. Second is that you are drunk. Many people are alcoholics and they become violent. Why do they get violent? The alcohol can affect your brain and eliminates important parts of your brain. If you get a lot of alcohol your brain can't work well, you get out of control, and you don't know what you are doing. That's why some people are getting violent, because your brain isn't working well. Finally another thing why you get violent is by playing violent video games and watching violent movies. In these day movies are getting more violent, like they have more gun shots, and more fights. Parents start buying video games (that have violence) to their kids, and they start loving it. We can prevent this by make less violent movies, and parents should understand which game are they buying to their kids and ask them: Why you want it?

There are many solutions for violence, but I will tell you some of them. First, stop perpetrating violence on children, this means no spanking or hitting. We also need to protect children from violent scenes on television or videos, and expect to give the same standards of nonviolent behavior from boys that we expect from girls. Also people have to care! I mean, how is anything going to get done if no one takes time to help? I hear people saying that violence is getting out of hand, but yet they do anything to help. It makes me sick to think about it. Finally, we should take this situation with violence seriously. I feel, and this is my opinion, that no one is taking this problem seriously. I mean, some people actually make violence into a joke. Doesn't anyone realize that today’s children are seeing this and are getting the idea that violence is good? This is wrong! I personally do not want my children to grow up in a world that is full of violence, and I'm sure that there are other people who agree that something should be done, but yet no one does.

My conclusion is that violence is affecting a lot in our world. To all of that problems, causes and solution we can know that it is affecting and there are a lot of things to do to prevent violence. But all I'm asking is for everyone to take a good look at our world, and see how violence has destroyed our way of life, and maybe then something can be done.
