Grading Philosophy

The start of each semester is a great time to have conversations with your student about what they are learning, and (perhaps more importantly) how they are learning. We have established an evaluative framework that allows for students to be graded on what they know and can demonstrate, as opposed to any external behaviors they might demonstrate en-route to proficiency. Long-story short, feel free to check out our parent-friendly Standards-Based Grading website to familiarize yourself with the basic tenets of our practice.

Post-Season Sports

The Sentinels are back at it again! After a successful league season, every winter sports team (and cheer!) is headed to the playoffs! This past Thursday we sent our Bowling and Cheer teams off to state, while Boys and Girls Basketball continue to battle it out in their respective league tournaments. Wrestling is preparing for regionals and Boys Swim & Dive is headed off the league championships today! For the most up-to-date information on Sentinel Athletics, click here!
