Korean Community Service Center of Greater Washington (KCSC) would like to invite you to attend our 43rd Annual Fundraising Banquet.
KCSC is a non-profit ethnic-led social service organization with a mission to assist and empower Asian Americans and new immigrants to become well-adjusted and fully contributing members of the United States.
KCSC was founded in 1974 and, over the past 43 years, we have grown and evolved into the largest bilingual and bicultural Korean social service agency in the DC metropolitan area. KCSC has expanded and outgrown our original name, now providing services to other Asian immigrant communities living in the metro DC area. KCSC has served more than 150,000 Asian American immigrant families since it was founded and currently provides services to about 1,200 Asian Americans a month.
There are more than half a million Asian residents living in the Metro DC area, including more than 100,000 Korean Americans and immigrants. At KCSC, we do everything we can to help these resilient and hardworking community members get a good start in their new lives in the United States but we know that we can only continue our work with the encouragement and support of the community. One way is through the support of individual donors and businesses at our Annual Fundraising Banquet.
KCSC’s 43rd Annual Fundraising Banquet will be held on Sunday March 26th at the Hilton McLean Tysons Corner, 7920 Jones Branch Drive, McLean, VA 22102. The Reception will start at 5:00PM followed by the Dinner and Program beginning at 6:00PM. The theme for the 2017 Banquet is: “Cherishing Diversity, Empowering Community”, which is particularly meaningful given KCSC’s mission.
