Last Friday, students at MPS participated in our annual school walkathon. The theme this year was Favourite Book Character and it was fantastic to see such a wide range of ideas and colours on display!
The rain held off as students ‘walked’ (ok, ran) alongside their peers, friends and teachers in an effort to raise money for our school. The excitement and joy witnessed was testament to what an inclusive school we have here at MPS, with everyone from Little Red Riding Hood to George the Farmer enjoying the music and fun!
The Cat in the Hat showed just how remarkable ‘his’ talents are when he created a fairy teacher from thin air and ‘his’ army of ‘Things’ ensured the event ran smoothly. Our SRC kept everyone cool with some Zoopa Doopas and water breaks and the School P&C worked incredibly hard to ensure students were well fed after their exercise!
