The sun is a star and the moon is an asteroid.

The sun and moon are different because the sun is 9,941 degrees Fahrenheit. The moon is 253 degrees Fahrenheit

They're both in our solar system. (The sun and the moon)

They both help with lunar eclipses.

They're both in the same galaxie.

They both can't support life.
