Disney's Magical Express
Walt Disney World will no longer offer Disney’s Magical Express service for airport transportation, starting with arrivals Jan. 1, 2022.
Additionally, complimentary transportation options – such as buses, monorails and Disney Skyliner – will continue to be available within Walt Disney World Resort for Disney Resort hotel guests, including to and from all four theme parks.
EARLY THEME PARK ENTRY FOR ON-SITE DISNEY GUESTS
- Early Theme Park Entry: We know how much guests enjoy extra park time, so coming later this year as part of our 50th anniversary celebration, Disney Resort hotel guests and guests of other select hotels will be able to enjoy more fun with 30-minute early entry to ANY theme park, EVERY day. It’ll be a great way to get a jump start on your Disney day, no matter the day! As a reminder, the Extra Magic Hours benefit was suspended when Walt Disney World Resort reopened last summer, and as we continue to manage attendance with health and safety top of mind, Extra Magic Hours will not return. The new early theme park entry benefit helps us better spread visitation across all four theme parks, while providing added flexibility by giving guests extra early park time on each day of their vacation and in the park of their choosing. Please note that guests need valid admission and a park reservation made via the Disney Park Pass system to enter a theme park.
Extended Evening Theme Park Hours
With the kickoff of the 50th anniversary, enjoy extended evening hours on select evenings in select theme parks when you stay at a Disney Deluxe Resort or, Disney Deluxe Villa Resort or other select hotels. How to Purchase: You can make individual purchases within the Disney Genie Service Tip Board or My Day itinerary in the app on the same day of your visit.
When to Select Attractions: You can purchase individual selections for up to 2 different attractions per day.
- Guests of a Disney Resort Hotel and Other Select Hotels: These Guests can make their first purchase starting at 7:00 AM on the day of their visit. Available to Disney Resort hotel Guests and Guests of Walt Disney World Swan and Dolphin Hotels and Shades of Green.

What is the pricing for individual, "á la carte" Lightning Lane entrances?
- Answer: Prices will vary by date, attraction and park. For example, the Lightning Lane entrance to Remy's Ratatouille Adventure will be $9 plus tax (USD) per person on October 19 and $11 plus tax (USD) per person on October 23. As another example, on both those dates, Lightning Lane entrance to Expedition Everest – Legend of the Forbidden Mountain will be $7 plus tax (USD) per person, while Star Wars: Rise of the Resistance will be $15 plus tax (USD) per person. Throughout the year, prices may be lower on some days and higher on other days. This option may be purchased at up to 2 different attractions each day.
Do I need to purchase Disney Genie+ service to book a Lightning Lane arrival time?
- Answer: There are 2 ways to select times to arrive at Lightning Lane entrances. You can purchase Disney Genie+ service or purchase entrance to an individual experience. Each option offers a different set of experiences within each park
Can I hold a Genie+ Lightning Lane entrance selection and individual Lightning Lane entrance selections at the same time?
- Answer: Yes. Guests may purchase and schedule individual attraction selections in addition to any Genie+ selections for the Lightning Lane entrance.
What if I purchase Disney Genie+ service late in the day? Will it be too late to experience the attractions I’d like to ride?
- Answer: With Disney Genie+ service, you may select the next available arrival window—one selection at a time—for a variety of attractions and experiences (subject to limited availability). With itinerary planning and new features like forecasted future wait times, Disney Genie service can help you decide how to make the most of your day and when to visit the attractions you don’t want to miss. On the day of your visit, you will be able to view Lightning Lane entrance availability before purchasing Disney Genie+ service.

I started as a travel agent for Liberty Travel (brick & motor) in February of 2011. My experience before that was in the Hospitality industry working in hotels; as well as a 4 year degree in Hospitality Management. I love to travel myself and I love to send clients on their dream vacations & create memories to last a lifetime.
In December of 2016 I went from working in an office setting to working from our home in Liverpool, NY as a homebased travel agent; and in June of 2017 since our family was growing we moved back to our hometown near Buffalo, NY.
