HTML/CSS Programming
Rising fourth–, fifth–, and sixth-graders were introduced to HTML/CSS programming languages. Students coded their own websites, from scratch. Additionally, they personalized their websites by embedding maps, customizing and embedding a weather widget, embedding a music playlist, creating a blog and embedding it into their website (writing 'almost' daily in said blog), and adding and changing the position of an animation (by changing the values of the x- and y-axis). These concepts were also reinforced through our Robot Turtles coding board game and plenty of outside/playground time for the kids (and instructors) to decompress.
