Single Row - Straight

7 - One of SofTap's most popular and versatile needles. It can be used for hair strokes or solid fills in thin eyebrows, thin eyeliner (both top & bottom), thick eyeliner (outlines), or very thin lip lines

9 - Very popular and very versatile. It is often used for thin eyeliner (both top & bottom), outlining thick eyeliner, outlining lips, and doing thinner eyebrows. Can also be used to tap in hair strokes.

10 (fine) - For very fine, detailed work. Fine needle configurations are set closer together and create thinner, more solid lines than regular gauge needles. The 10 fine is used for very defined, thin hair strokes in eyebrows, very thin eyeliner (both top & bottom), outlining thicker eyeliner (great for wispy tails), and for very thin lip lines

12 - One of the most versatile needles available. It may be used to shade eyebrows, tap any kind of eyeliner, and even line and feather lip lines. The 12 utilizes regular gauge needles for a softer effect than fine gauge needles.

Multi-Row - Straight

24 (double row, fine) - What we like to call a "workhorse needle;" the 24 applies gorgeous eyeliner, luscious thick lip liner, and dense eyebrows with ease. The 24 two rows of needles, (a "double row" of 12 needles) that are set very close together for optimum color density.

28 (double row) - Consists of two rows of 14 needles set at regular intervals. This needle is great for applying medium eyeliner (top & bottom), thick eyeliner (top only), soft and solid fills in sparse eyebrows, and for filling in lips.

39 (triple row, fine) - Three rows of fine needles set very close together. The 39 is a fantastic needle for thicker upper eyeliner and naturally fuller lash enhancements. Eyebrows and medium/thick lip liner can also be done with the 39 prong.

42 (triple row) - Three rows of needles set at regular intervals, and makes a thicker but less dense line than the 39 prong configuration. 42's are great needles for thick eyeliner (top) and filling in lips.

56 (4 rows) - Quadruple row configuration, awesome for applying thick upper eyeliner and filling in lips.

70 (5 rows, fine) - Five rows of fine needles set very close together. The 70 is a fantastic needle for thicker upper eyeliner and naturally fuller lash enhancements. Eyebrows and medium/thick lip liner can also be done with the 70 prong.

84 (5 rows, fine) - Created for filling in lips, scars, or areolas with beautiful SofTap color. The 84 has five rows of fine needles arranged in a rectangular block for easy implantation.

114 (6 rows, fine) - This is the largest SofTap configuration available. The 114 is used on lips, areola, and scar camouflage treatments. This needle is the surest way to implant color gently in larger areas.

Round

3 - SofTap's smallest needle configuration. A 3 round has three needles set close together in a round shape for applying very small, less defined spots of color. This needle is ideal for eyelash enhancements, especially for an "unlined" lower eyeliner.

8 - A larger version of the 3; great for eyelash enhancements. The 8 will give you a medium thickness area of color, so it's perfect for medium top eyeliner applied between the lashes; can also be used for a thicker bottom eyelash enhancement.

15 - Gives a softer spray of color; perfect for medium lip liner (after outlining with a straight needle), scar camouflage, and soft fills in eyebrows.

18 (fine) - Used for eyelash enhancements and brows where thicker broken smudges are desire, and for beautiful feathery lip lines.

25 - Larger version of the 15 prong round. The 25 can be used for soft fills in eyebrows, lip feathering, or full lip procedures; great needle for a soft, pixelated fill in the arch and tail on ombre brows.

33 (fine) - Used for brows and lips where soft, dense definition is desired, and for beautiful lip feathering and the inside of the lip line. One of our favorites for adding extra contrast in the arch and tail on high density ombre brows.

36 - Larger version of the 15 round. The 36 can be used for soft fills in eyebrows, lip feathering, or full lip procedures.

52 (fine) - The largest fine, round; is used for eyelash enhancements and brows where thicker broken smudges are desire, and for beautiful feathery lip lines.

87 - Larger version of the 36 round, and is used for filling in large areas very quickly. Use it for lip fill in, camouflage, and areola re-pigmentation.

Smudger

SUPER SMUDGERS

needle points are delicately spread apart to disperse pigment for a super soft look

7ss (1 row) - the best needle for applying an undetectable edge to a brow, or a super soft lash enhancement - especially for an "unlined" lower lash enhancement.

13ss (2 rows) - two rows of needles, spread apart enough to create a gentle shading effect that's perfect for filling in brows or a "pixel-y" eyeliner

15ss (2 rows, fine) - similar to one of our most popular needles, the 24, but with more space between each individual needle. The 15ss is prefect for lash enhancements and ombre brows; you can also use this needle for softly defined, borderless lips.

20ss (3 rows) - this triple row smudger will cover quickly with a soft shading effect that will blend color easily; an excellent needle for filling in brows, especially for providing a shadowy background to hairstrokes or microblading.

23ss (3 rows, fine) - similar to the popular 39, but with more space between each individual needle. We love the 23ss for it's ability to fill in brows, and eyeliner quickly and gently, while softly blending layers of color.

ULTIMATE SMUDGERS

an all new needle type, never seen before in the industry; needle points are dramatically spread extra far apart, for an ultra-soft, velvety layer of pigment

11us (2 rows) - this ultimate shader will blend color gently and is perfect for soft shaded brows, or ultra dusty eyeliners.

14us (2 rows, fine) - groundbreaking needle created to make the smoothest shading in the industry; the gentlest way to layer color for powder brows, ombre brows, areola reconstruction, scar camo, and borderless lips.

17us (3 rows) - this ultimate shader will blend color gently and is perfect for soft shaded brows, or ultra dusty, thick eyeliners; with this triple row configuration you'll be able to fill in any area quickly with a soft kiss of color.

20us (3 rows, fine) - makes an air brush effect for powder brows, ombre brows, stardust liner, borderless lips, scar camo, areola re-construction, and more; cover area quickly while maintaining a subtle blush of color.

Curve

6f (fine) - The Gen 6f is used for delicately etching individual hair strokes into eyebrows. This technique is sometimes referred to as microstroking, microblading, feathering, embroidery, or microetching; the 6f is the most flexible needle for this technique. It is great for super fine hair strokes on normal-delicate skin. Perform 1-3 strokes, with optional taps at the base of each hair, for gorgeous realistic hairs.

6r (regular) - The Gen 6r is also used for gently applying a hair stroke look for brows. Professionals love the balance between hard and soft that this needle provides. Great for normal-thick skin. Can be used for microstroking, microblading, feathering, microetching, and tapped strokes.

13u (nano) - exceptionally fine nano needles arranged in a "U" shape for seamless maneuverability; this nano is best at creating super-fine hairstrokes in the brow that can be short, or long & curved or straight.

14 (regular) - this fantastic needle is the ultimate tool for beautiful hair strokes in eyebrows. The 14 can accommodate thin and thick areas of brows with the turn of your hand. Give your clients hairstrokes, soft fills, or solid fills with this configuration.

16 (fine) - finer, tighter version of the 14 curve; used for smaller eyebrow designs that require more definition. Hairstrokes implanted with the 16 are shorter and thinner than those implanted with a 14.

17c (nano) - fashioned after our very popular 16 curve, but with ultra slender nano needles. The 17c can create baby fine hairstrokes with ease and can also be used as a multi-functional tapping and microblading tool.
