#thankfulThursday
The office staff would like your help in recognizing our staff. Please take a few moments and use the link below to provide some encouragement to those folks that are making a major difference in your child's future. These comments can be anonymous, or you can provide your name. The office staff will use the provided comments every Thursday for our #thankfulThursday movement. The attached form can be completed, as little or often as you like, throughout the entire school year. We appreciate your support in growing the culture of gratitude that already exists at MIS!!
A comment shared this week:
"We are so thankful for the extra care Mrs. Best has taken in making sure we are aware of some anxiety our son has had with starting the year. She has sent messages to get extra guidance to help him do his best in class. She truly seems to care for her students! We are thankful for both Mrs. Best and Mrs. Herron in making this transition to a new school during a pandemic as smooth as possible! Thank you!"
MRs. Chance - opportunity to support her family
As many of you are aware, Mrs. Chance, 5th Grade MIS teacher, is in a very serious battle with cancer at this time. We think of her often and are looking for any little way that we can help. Therefore, we would like to offer you the opportunity to do the same.
If you would like to show your support to her family during this time, t-shirts and masks have been made available for purchase. The proceeds are going to the family to cover any expenses that they may have. If you choose to order, please select Maxwell Intermediate School as your delivery address. All orders will be delivered to Maxwell Intermediate School and can be sent home with your child or picked up.
To place an order, please CLICK HERE. If you have questions about orders, please contact Mrs. Herron at Lherron@gcsc.k12.in.us.

schoolstore.com
Our school will be participating in the SchoolStore program again this year. This online program helps our school earn cash without students selling door-to-door, collecting money or delivering products. Over 400 merchants, including Kohl's, Old Navy and WalMart.com, have joined together to offer up to 50% of sales to our school for shopping through SchoolStore.com.
You shop online for what you are planning to purchase anyway and support our school. Simply go to www.schoolstore.com, select our school (School code: 8981) and let the shopping begin!! Feel free to share with family members and friends.
