Pope Leo IX

Leo IX was born into a aristocratic family. He was the 151st pope for the catholic church. His military actions cause the eastern and western churches to split, also known as the Great Schism.

St. Dominic

St Dominic took a trip with his bishop and started doing apostolic work. He was born in Spain and he trained/studied priesthood there. He was a Canon for a cathedral in Osma.

St. Francis of Assisi

St Francis of Assisi lived a life of luxury but then devoted himself to Christianity. He fought in a battle between Assisi and Perugia and was captured. He gained visions from god and was told to repair the Church of Christ and live a life of poverty. He also had a great live for animals and the environment.
