On the drive back from Bridgeton, Indiana on Sunday we came across this aging structure on Bridgeton Road between Bridgeton and Rockville, Indiana. I am not sure why my eye is drawn towards buildings in various states of decay, but there is a certain visual interest in the lines, shapes, and textures of these aging structures. I often find that these features are much more apparent and seem to fit an era long gone when processed in black and white. I don't know if the sagging house was damaged from a large tree falling on it or simply from years of neglect. It has obviously been deteriorating for many years.
