Mid-Day Prayers

Find a quiet space. Be still. Relax. Know that God is present. Know that He holds you close.

"Be Still and know that I am God" (Ps46:10).

Pause... Be aware of the rhythm of your breathing as you soak in His presence in the stillness.
Read a few verses from a gospel (Matthew, Mark, Luke, or John). Continue this each day.

Immerse yourself in the Prayer that Jesus taught. Matthew 6:9-13

Our Father in heaven, help us to honour your name.

(Speak out praise to God)

Your Kingdom come, your will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.

(Pray that God's ways of justice, goodness and truth will be seen on earth).

Give us today our daily bread.

(Tell God what you need. God is good & He loves to give good gifts to His children).

Forgive us our sins as we forgive those who sin against us.

(Confess; Receive forgiveness; Forgive)

Lead us not into temptation but deliver us from evil.

(Ask for guidance, for protection, for strength)

For Yours is the Kingdom, the power, and the glory. Forever and ever!

(Be still for a moment or two longer! Let the significance of being in the presence of the eternal-one give you strength as you remember His promise to always be with you).

"Do not be afraid for I am with you" says the Lord (Isaiah 41:10)
