Third Sunday of Easter April 26th, 2020

In the historical church calendar (also called the liturgical calendar) Easter is not limited to a single Sunday, but it is a joyful season extending from Resurrection Sunday all the way to Pentecost. Celebrating the 40 days that our resurrected Savior opened the scriptures to His apostles before His Ascension, as well as the following days leading up to the promised arrival of His Holy Spirit.

May you continue to celebrate the resurrection of our Risen Lord throughout the entire Easter Season, growing closer to Him through the reading of His Word.

Living God, long ago, faithful women proclaimed the good news of Jesus' resurrection, and the world was changed forever. Teach us to keep faith with them, that our witness may be as bold, our love as deep, and our faith as true.
