Jayuya & Taíno Traces

Taínos were one of the indigenous tribes that mainly inhabited the Caribbean islands before they were killed off or enslaved by the Spanish. There are many traces left behind, especially in Jayuya.
Fun fact - Taínos were a matriarchal society and women were free, independent, and commanded powerful respect....until the Spanish happened.
