Tailored Image was established in October 1998 with the objective of providing an unrivalled corporate wear and work wear service to both the public and private business sectors in Ireland and the United Kingdom.
The company operates from extensive showroom and warehouse facilities at the Linen Green, Dungannon, Co. Tyrone. Tailored Image was established in October 1998. It is a Private Limited Company, owned and managed by four shareholders who are all full time executive directors in the business.
Strategically a number of years ago we identified the transport sector, particularly that in the UK as a target market, one which in Ireland over the years we have had great success servicing. It’s fair to say that if you arrive in Ireland, North or South by boat or plane and step onto either a bus or train you will most likely be looked after by someone wearing a Tailored Image supplied uniform!
The company will have a turnover of circa £9m and employees 70 staff. We currently successfully manage contracts on behalf of a broad range of clients in a variety of sectors.
Among the larger contracts under management are: Go Ahead Group (UK) 11,500 employees, Translink (N. Ireland) 4,000 employees, Irish Defence Forces (Ireland) 10,000 staff, the CIE group of companies (Irish Rail, Bus Eireann & Dublin Bus) with a total of 4,800 employees and Allied Irish Bank (AIB) with 4,800 employees.
We place great emphasis on our ability to retain customers – as an example in the transport sector alone we have retained the business of Bus Eireann for eight years and that of Irish Rail for six years. We have had our first extension to the Translink contract bringing it to five years at this point. In 18 years of operation we have never had a contract terminated for non-performance of our obligations.
