RED DOG REVIEW By TAMARA DJUKIC

Red Dog is a movie based in the town of Dampier, the outback of Australia. It is a great family movie that could be enjoyed by anyone. Red Dog was a dog for everyone and anyone but he had no master. He meets John, who becomes his true master and then he helps his master find true love. The movie starts at the end where Red Dog has gotten sick. A deliveryman comes and all the people that live in the town tell him stories about Red Dog. They tell him about how Red Dog first came and all the adventures they have had with him. They also tell stories about John and his true love Nancy and how they met.

The movie was written by Daniel Taplitz and released on the 4th of August 2011. It directed by Kriv Stenders and produced by Nelson Woss and Julie Ryan. Red Dog is based on the novel Red Dog written by Louis de Bernieres which was released in 2001.

The cast of Red dog portrayed their characters very well. The lead role of John was played by Josh Lucus. He played the role of an American bus driver that came to Australia. He is a loving and caring man that is kind to everyone. John meets Red Dog when he jumps onto the the bus expecting to get driven to where ever he wanted. John turned around and saw that Red Dog is in the bus and kicked him out. Red kept trying to get on the bus but John didn't let him. In the end John let Red go on the bus and they became great friends.

My favourite part of the movie was when the whole town got together to help Nancy show The Cribbages that everyone supported red dog. Overall the movie was very enjoyable and i really liked how everyone told their own little story. I really enjoyed the movie and i would recommend anyone to watch it .
