While studying and doing homework, I found my self easily distracted by my cell phone. For the month of March, I practiced putting my phone away for an hour daily on week days to be more productive throughout the day. I created a schedule of what I should during that one hour and followed through with it. At first it seemed very difficult because I felt the urge to pick up my phone and browse through social media but eventually I became used to it. My plan was to only try this out for one week but I found it to be very helpful and continued.
