PTSD

I believe Holden has PTSD because he has lots of symptoms of this.Like he doesn't like talking about when Mr. Antilini was patting him on the head."I don't even like to talk about it"Page 191.I think this triggered his PTSD because when he was little he could of had a weird experience like that and it triggered his PTSD. It also said that usually people with PTSD don't like to remember events or things that connect to this event. Also avoid feelings or thoughts connecting with the event.

PTSD

A reminder on the event can trigger there PTSD. When Mr.Antilini was patting him on the head Holden freaked out and he doesn't like to talk about when he woke up and Mr.Antinli was next to him on the floor patting his head.He got very ski-dish and left there house."He was sitting on the floor right next to the couch in the dark and all he was petting me or patting.".Page 192
