DP RL 7.6 Point of view By: Kelly PeterseN period: 6

Standard RL 7.6: Identify the point of view of a work of literature: for example, Harry Potter in Harry Potter or Stanley Yelnats from the novel Holes. Explain why the novel you choose used this point of view. Choose a different point of view and explain how the story would be different with this point of view. How would the story change?

In the book Harry Potter it is written in third person limited. The reason for it being third person limited is because we are only in the mind of Harry Potter. It would be different if was in first person because it would all be based on the thoughts of Harry Potter and what he thought of other people. If Harry Potter were to describe a person he would have an opinion not a fact, the author would have all facts.
