MICHIGAN STUDENT TEST OF EDUCATIONAL PROGRESS (M-STEP)

Each spring our third, fourth, and fifth graders participate in the standardized state assessment, the M-STEP. The purpose of this assessment is to: 1) Provide state, district, and building data to determine the effectiveness of our programming; and 2) Provide parents and teachers with individual student performance data. Third through fifth grade students will take an online English Language Arts (ELA) and Math assessment on their iPads. In addition, fifth grade will be taking a Science Field Test and a two part Social Studies assessment.

  • The testing window for fifth grade assessments will be April 9th through May 4th, 2018.
  • The testing window for the third and fourth grade assessments is April 30th through May 25th, 2018.
  • The exact testing dates for each grade level will be shared as soon as we are able to set these dates around our spring calendar.
