May your heart be light a day in life with Suzanne

I am a lot of things, in no particular order, a mom, a daughter , an aunt, a friend, a wife,...but that Grandma thing..nothing better.

At holiday time, being a grandmother means, finding gifts, sending gifts, decorating the tree, hanging the stockings, anticipating a holiday of wonder and light. For the first time in many years I will not host Christmas Eve, I was sad at first, but then I realized how lucky i am, my husband and I have taken the first steps toward retirement, putting our house on the market and taking a live in caretaker position. Once the house sells, he can retire! yay! We have moved into a much smaller place which means I have downsized greatly, another holy crap yay!!! My husband and i are happy, healthy -ish, and looking forward to the many new chapters to come. Welcome Christmas bring your cheer. Bring on the new year, and I wish you all a merry little Christmas, may your hearts be light!
