As Quickscrews’ 30th Anniversary approaches in July, I thought it would be fun to share some of my favorite throwback pictures and see if anyone recognizes some of these amazing people who have been here at Quickscrews from the start. It is impressive to see where we have been and how far we have come.
Our CEO, Greg Wiener, will throw jabs at us millennials for not knowing what it was like to run a company without computers. I often laugh and jokingly turn over to our IT Manager, Mark, letting him know my email froze and my life is ruined. I was a part of the first generation who grew up with computers in schools and I can’t imagine how anyone could have gotten anything accomplished without one. Yet, believe it or not, we still have customers that will call and ask to place an order over the phone because they do not own a computer. For a screw company, Quickscrews is a leader in technology. Our website has many time saving and technologically advanced tools such as live inventory and order tracking, along with free resources such as a fastener guide and infographics. This balance of tradition and current technology is what separates us from the competition and why we have been in business for almost 30 years!
They say people will come and go but it is those who leave a lasting impression that are worth remembering. Therefore, I would like to encourage anyone that would like to share a quick story or anecdote about Quickscrews to please send them to my email before May 19th. We will make a compilation and will share them with the Quickscrews team at the Company 30th Anniversary celebration.
