In this video, I recorded what football player Brock Jones said during a practice. I did this by putting a mic on his jersey and recording him using my phone. I learned how to do this more effectively if I ever did it again, as I could get more angles of Brock and the practice. A lot of the audio was fuzzy and not usable, which was a challenge, but I was able to pull together around a minute of good audio and make this video. I enjoy this video because the idea is very unique. My teacher told me he liked the idea as well, and I saw this video played at the football game.

This is a highlight video for Gideon Boaten, who scored 4 touchdowns during a football game against Webster Groves. I made it by using footage from Gateway Sports Venue and putting one of Gideon's song over the highlights. During this video, I learned how to make background audio (from the game) louder and quieter depending on what part of the highlight it is. During a celebration, for example, I would make the background audio louder. One challenge that I had was making the audio flow smoothly when it gets louder and quieter, but fading in and out certain clips helped a lot. I enjoy this video because I think it fits very well as a hype video. My teacher told me that this video was simple and effective, and I've seen this video played at the football game and throughout the school.

For my third project, I decided to do some senior profiles. I did three for soccer and two for football. I made it by taking green screen footage from the players and putting them into a pre-made senior profile template. By doing these profiles, I learned how to make text look better. Sometimes the text would not initially look right, which was a challenge for me, but I would change things such as the size and add a drop shadow to make it look better. Overall, I liked how the profiles turned out and I think it is a very cool idea in general. From what I have heard, the senior profiles got good feedback from the teachers, and I see them played throughout the school.

This video was a promo for the upcoming basketball season. I made this video by using footage from Gateway Sports Venue from last year's exciting game against Jennings. For this video, I learned how to search online to find good music for the video, as I previously did not have to do that and chose from music provided to me. There were many good plays from this game, so my original video ended up being very long. This was a challenge, but I was able to cut the video down to around a minute. I like the music for this video, and I also think this video fits very well as a hype video. I've had friends tell me they liked the video, and I've seen this video played at the football game and throughout the school.

This was an extra credit project and highlight video for Ladue's District Championship game vs. Rockwood Summit. I made it by using footage from Gateway Sports Venue and putting music I found online over the highlights. In this video, I learned how to effectively raise volume without it being too noticeable. The audio did not sound good faded out, which was a challenge. However, I made it work by splitting the clip many times and steadily raising the volume in each split clip. I think the rises in volume turned out well, and I enjoy that about this video. Friends of mine have told me that they liked the video, and I saw this video played at the football game.

For my final project, I decided to wrap up Ladue's football season by showing the most memorable moments from the season. I made it by using footage from Gateway Sports Venue and the stadium cameras and putting a caption over what clip was playing. I learned how to search the Multimedia Sports Production Google Drive for stadium camera footage, as I had not used stadium camera footage up until that point. At some points, I would forget what day a certain play happened or what the score of a game was. This was a challenge, but I solved it by looking at stats.stlhighschoolsports.com and going to Ladue's schedule. I enjoy how I put the date of the play on the video, as I think it is a unique idea. My teacher told me it will be a very good video to play at the start of next year's football season.
