Why attend a photography workshop JCL Photography Workshops

Improving your photography isn't easy. Simply taking more photos won't do it alone. Photography is part art and part science. Most people have more of an inclination for one part than the other.

Art - the ability to see the image

Photography for me is not looking, it's feeling.

Don McCullin

Science - the ability to take the image

Some need help with seeing and then composing the image. Others with the technical side - getting the correct creative exposure, capturing an image in difficult light, or working out all those complex camera settings.

A photography workshop provides individual tuition on the specific elements that will take your photography to the next level.
Whether on the street...
In the countryside...
In a city...
Knowing what to take and how to take it is key to capturing the images you want.
Even when you have only a moment to capture the image...
Feeling so much more confident now about how my camera works and in my ability to take better photos.

Workshop participant

If you've got a DSLR or CSC/ mirrorless camera you may well use it on automatic mode, but there is so much more you can do with your camera; a workshop is about unlocking that potential, increasing your confidence to take great images.
