Promise for a Good Future God's Promises

Jeremiah 29:11 - "For I know the plans I have for you,” declares the Lord, “plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future." (NIV)
We often fear what we can't see or control... the future.
We make lots of plans for the future. Perhaps some plans that we make arise out of fear... fear of being out of control, fear of a bad future, fear of what we cannot see. What is the motivation for your plan-making?

Do you know that God is thinking about your future? He has plans for you. Do you know what they are?

Sometimes, we don't want to know God's plans, because we don't trust that he has the best in store for us. Somehow, we think that we can come up with a better plan for our lives.
Yet, God has promised you a good future, a future of prosperity and hope.
1 Corinthians 2:9 - "No eye has seen, no ear has heard, no mind has conceived what God has prepared for those who love him." (NIV)

Will you open your hands to receive God's plans for your future?

Begin by surrendering your plans to him. Then, ask him to speak to you about his plans for you. He has promised to do that. (John 16:13)

Trust in his promise today.
