Impact Report Fiscal year 2016

Community Need

During the last fiscal year, YESS witnessed firsthand the growing need for emergency shelter and wraparound support in our community. Every day, we receive calls to our crisis hotline (515-282-9377) and requests for shelter beds. Childhood trauma is frequent and intensifying, and YESS is a frontline resource to help these children when their lives are scary and uncertain.

YESS Network of Support

In response to the growing need for services, we provide a full network of services that are designed to keep kids safe and families together. Altogether, 2,245 children utilized this network of services to find safety and caring support.
