2017-18 YEAR IN REVIEW: CARTER DWYER DESPITE INJURY-SHORTENED SEASON, DWYER MADE AN IMPACT

CARTER'S CALL

Carter Dwyer was familiar with the Johnstown Tomahawks prior to the 2017-18 season. The West Chester, Pa., native was a member of the Aston Rebels in 2016-17 where he played 11 games and earned two points (one goal, one assist).

Dwyer was drafted by the Tomahawks in the eighth round of the 2017 NAHL Draft. The 6-2 defenseman brought added size and physicality to the Tomahawks as well as keen defensive ability.

Unfortunately, Dwyer's first season in Johnstown was cut short due to an upper-body injury in early January.

DWYER BY THE NUMBERS

Dwyer netted one goal and added six assists in 35 games played for the Tomahawks. Those numbers were an improvement over his totals from 2016-17.
