RAM The basic parts of the computer

RAM(random access memory)is a form of computer data storage wich stores frequently used program instructions to increase the general speed of a system.

A random access memory device allows data items to be read or written in almost the same amount of time irrespective of the phyiscal location of data inside the memory.

In contrast, with other direct data storage media such as HARD DISK and other older DRUM MEMORY,the time required to read and write data items varies significantly depending on their physical locations on the recording medium, due the mechanical limitations such as media rotation speeds and arm movement.

We all have faced the task of having to choose which PC would be better suited to our needs.

The most common mistake you make is to think of the motto " more ram, more speed." Obviously this is often wrong. First, there are generally two tipes of RAM memory: SRAM (static random access memory) and DRAM (dynamic random acces memory).

Memoria S-RAM

this type of memory is very fast but expensive to implement because made with noble materials and, therefore, high capacity, condutio.

Memoria D-RAM

compared to the SRAM, this memory and realized with less costos materials that allow however to increase the capacity of action memory.
