To support the vitality of local economies, we offered a new service this year, Speed Consulting. In partnership with the Mount Vernon and Pelham Chambers of Commerce and local organizations, TAP delivered speed consulting services to over 2 dozen small businesses to provide high level strategic advice. During this community workshop, TAP consultants facilitated discussions on relevant challenges and opportunities affecting business growth and provided customized feedback and strategies for success for each participant. In addition to participating in this community workshop, the small business owners appreciated the opportunity to meet, network and discuss opportunities with other entrepreneurs in their community.
Our signature offering, the Strategic Advisory Program, continued to serve a number of businesses with varying areas of need throughout Westchester County. Community Capital, a microlender that we partner with, has remained a great resource for motivated and qualified TAP clients. TAP's team has doubled in size over the last year and has a growing wait list of applications. A surge in applications was due in part to our sponsorship of iRelaunch: The Return to Work Conference at Columbia University in NYC. With a total of 48 team members, we continue to look for ways to improve our training and development programs. In addition to our two trainings this year, we held an "Elevator Pitch Workshop" to help our team better present their professional identity. We also offer our team seasonal gatherings to network and discuss their projects. Said one new recruit:
