Freedom in the early colonies was developed by many influential men who created the foundation of the the basic freedoms of opportunity.

Th revolutionary period freedom was defined by Washington throughout his bravery and need to separate from England as an independent nation.

Thomas Jefferson elegantly scripted the constitution which was the first real definition of American freedom which included that of speech, religion, and press.

Freedom in early America was defined by the new economic, social, and religious and growing opportunities for all.
