United Nations Brett Aleschin

The United Nations was created to keep peace and prevent future world wars, and to create stability within the world. The United Nations was created after the League of Nations had failed. The League of Nations was created after world war 1 to prevent another world war, but there was not enough countries backing the new system to make it effective. After world war 2 the United Nations became the new organization this time more countries backed it and many new changes came about making it more effective.

The United Nations headquarters is located in New York City.
