Goodbye 16. Hello 17!
I wanted to introduce you to our new, Monthly, Picketfence Newsletter. Cindy Cordova will be updating this each month, and expanding with information, and events as the year progresses. Years ago, when we were a company of 8 people, we didn't need a newsletter, because we all knew what each other was doing... all the time. As we continue to grow, we realize that this newsletter would be beneficial to keep everyone in the loop on activities, announcements, etc. that are going on within and around the company. I love the feel of it, and Cindy has done a fantastic job on the 1st edition.
Thank god it's over! Actually, it was a great year in many ways. We continue to set new records in sales. We added a tremendous amount of new talent to our company with new hires. We added wonderful new customers. We switched operating systems by going live on RFMS April 1th, 2016. We saw the beginning of new management positions take shape as we restructured our Org Chart and departments. But the high volume of work and transitioning to a new operating system did expose some weak spots.
That leads us to 2017.
Be Great! The opportunity this year is for system and process improvement. There is no doubt that our Sales Teams, combined with the outstanding reputation we have built in the market place will provide more than ample Sales this year. We must continue to improve and fine tune each support area of the company to deliver a level of greatness to our customers, which they expect. While at the same time, improve the bottom line profit for our company. That is how we will thrive, survive, and continue to invest in our future.
We have the best team of people in the industry. That is unquestioned. We will continue to work hard to be the preferred service provider to our customers, the preferred customer to our suppliers, and the preferred place of employment for talented people. It takes Greatness every day for that to happen. So, you must ask yourself, "Was I Great today?"

We felt that it would be nice for those who work on these projects, but never really get the chance to see them to have a project featured each month with some photos and a little information to help see and understand what the end product looks like.
Our first Featured New Homes project is Beachbreak, by City Mark Development. Condos located in Imperial Beach on the water.
Installer Appreciation Lunch
We had a great turn out for our installer appreciation lunch, Tammy and her department did a great job organizing and setting up the lunch for the installers. We feel it is really important to recognize and acknowledge the installers, they have a very important role in our business and we want to foster and maintain those relationships. - Now that Open Enrollment for 2017 has ended, please be sure to go to the Pilot HSA website if you newly elected a Health Savings Account that you will start contributing to in 2017. - If you had a Flex Spending Account or Dependent Flex Spending Account in 2016 and you want that to continue in to 2017, be sure you did that in your benefits enrollment in ADP. The IRS will only allow for $500.00 in your current Flex Spending Account to roll over, so spend it now.
