The Temple Butte Formation is near the middle of the canyon. Exactly 6 layers from the top and 7 layers from the bottom.

What types of rocks and fossils are in this layer?

Dolomite, sand stone, mud stone, and lime stone are in the Temple Butte Formation, But there is more marine fossils are also found.

What is the habitat like in your layer?

Fresh Water Fish are in the Temple Butte Formation.
