This was the first time in the association's history that one person has accomplished this feat.

Mr. Ramsey has received recognition for his writing by the AETA five times previously. In addition, he has been published five times by the editors of the popular Chicken Soup for the Soul series. A sixth publication will appear in the October 31 release of Chicken Soup for the Soul: Stepping Out of Your Comfort Zone. Tim will be signing copies of this and the other five books containing his stories at Barnes and Noble Booksellers located at 1446 N. Litchfield Road, Goodyear, Arizona 85395 on Saturday, December 2, 2017 from 1:00 pm to 3:00 pm.

Tim is the author of the book, The Hugs on My Shirt, a collection of tales about students who have taught this educator to lead with his heart even in the current age of intense data analysis and high-stakes accountability. He is currently a contributor to the EdWords blog for the BAM Radio Network, an organization dedicated to addressing a whole child philosophy for educating our children.

Mr. Ramsey has been an educator for 35 years.

Rod Henkel, principal of Westwind Elementary School shares, "Tim is an inspiration to his students and to the entire school. He gives his best each day and students feel the importance of writing due to Tim's passion and commitment. We are honored to have him as part of our staff and his radiance shines through the students, our faculty, our families and the community we serve. We are so proud of his accomplishments!"
