Winter Recap

Signs of Spring are in the air, and soon the snow will be melted and the flowers will be blooming. As one of my favourite seasons ends, it's time to have a look back at the highlights from this past winter.

Winter began in Vancouver for the Make It! Show. There was a heavy inversion covering the city for the duration of my trip, so I went out a few mornings up to Cypress Mountain for sunrise.

After Vancouver I was off to Chihuahua, Mexico for Christmas and New Years. Trading the snow of Fernie for more fall like weather, I had clear skies for the New Years Supermoon

I returned to the land of snow and ice, and spent a good portion of the winter high above Fernie (and a short time above Banff) watching the sun set and the stars rise.

I captured some more intimate scenes when the weather wouldn't cooperate for the grand vistas

I got out skiing in Fernie, Rossland, Nelson and Rogers Pass.

Last but not least, my favourite moment of the winter occurred watching the sunrise light the Three Sisters
